Shade Hotel Redondo Beach

It was clean, everyone was good. Everything was brand-new, luxurious and exceptionally nice room with great view.

Magnificent location, relatively close to Seaside Lagoon Public Swimming Pool. A nice size and well-appointed rooms with a great view and a king bedroom, for instance, private parking.

It exceeded my previous experience in redondo beach, especially with the kids playing safely. The spacious beautiful king suite provided a soothing atmosphere and wonderful views of the marina.

the restaurant's brunch was disappointing.

I loved the charming oceanfront decor and spacious layout, wonderfully accessible for seniors. The calming color palette and large windows allowed for ample natural light.

More accessible features in bathrooms would be beneficial.

Beautiful views but service fell short

I enjoyed the fine marina views from my room, and the spacious layout was quite appealing. The service at the counter was less than friendly, and I faced unexpected charges that left a sour note on my stay. The hotel's amenities could match better with the guest experience promised.

We recently hosted a family reunion at the hotel, and it was fantastic! The pool area was perfect for the kids, and we had an amazing time engaging in the 'You & Me By The Sea' package, made the event nice. Everyone felt right at home.

My kids wished for a more diverse children's menu during meals.

Loved the spacious balcony with ocean views and the unique bathtub outside. The rooftop pool and complimentary cocktails were a highlight too.

I adored the amazing marina views from my Beautiful King Suite-sunsets were pure magic! The rooftop pool was my new happy place, with fine sights and a relaxing vibe. Plus, how cute is having outdoor bathtubs on the balcony? Total luxury!

I had an amazing stay! The balcony view was stunning, and the large walk-in shower. The happy hour with great food and drinks was a good surprise!

Great views and friendly staff, but the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times.

Good Stay with Room for Improvement

Watch out for brunch on weekends. It can be underwhelming! I recommend visiting during weekdays for the best meals and enjoying the ocean breeze.

The staff were super nice and greeted us with complimentary snacks and drinks at check-in. Our Beautiful King Suite was spacious with an outdoor balcony bathtub and fine marina views. The rooftop pool was a perfect spot to relax, and the breakfast was fresh with options like yogurt parfaits. Yoga classes on the roof were a nice touch too!

The friendly staff reached out before our arrival, offering extra pillows or water, and provided a warm welcome upon check-in. Enjoyed the spacious room with a large walk-in shower and made great use of the peaceful balcony. Happy hour at the Shade bar was a highlight, especially with the great beer selection available. The noise from the nearby street could be disruptive at times, and there were occasional delays with room service that were less than ideal.

While the limited room service options were a downside, the cute atmosphere made up for it. A nice experience!
